KINGS NIGHTWALKS

A short experimental + documentary dance video work sharing the process of the KINGS NIGHTWALKS.

KINGS NIGHTWALKS took place in Manchester City Centre at night over a few hours, the walks through the city always ended in one outdoor location, led by one member of the KINGS performance/collaboration team each time and using the question ‘ choose an area in Manchester which makes you aware of your own body’ to lead the journey. Once we arrived we would discuss how the space felt and what interested us about the space, using or bodies to create responses and sharing these together, leading to generating material that was then incorporated into both the KINGS performance sharing and KINGS PAMONA video work.
